Sea Turtles tours

Corozalito Beach is only about 40 minute drive from Sámara Beach. You will walk along the nice dark sand beach in hopes of seeing four species of turtles. The most common one is the Olive Ridley Sea Turtle. Enjoy the night-walk, the bright stars, and the simpleness of the night as you learn about the turtle nesting from an experienced guide. Ostional Beach is one of the few spots in the world where you have the possibility to see massive turtle nesting, like the Arribada. This phenomenon is a major highlight if you are around the Nicoya Peninsula. You will watch the circle of life as hundreds of Olive Ridley Sea Turtles arrive on the beach to nest their eggs before returning back into the ocean.
